Hi yahoo answers tell me the procedure for setting up the power system in the home..
Electricity can be generated by building Windmills which rotate when there is wind blowing and generate electricity through a generator.Nowadays, the Technology is so improved that we can build our own Solar Panels or Wind Power Generators at home with materials available in our local hardware stores to generate electricity. This way we can eliminate or reduce our Electricity bill.

Yes. There is a proposed project for a huge wind farm off of Martha’s Vineyard. Many of the towers will be visible from shore. Even people that generally favor wind farms are opposing this one, probably because it is in their own playground.
Just google Martha’s VIneyard wind farm proposal, or Cap Cod wind farm, and Nantcket wind farm. THeir may be too much info to weed through. THe Army Corp of ENgineers also has a feasability study one it. Use the hyperlinks to get around and pick what you want- there is great detail on it and many good summaries, both pro and con.
when it come to home solar power why do some choose 24v and others 12 v systems?
i want a solar power system, but dont know if i choose 12v or 24v and why.
it all depends, since you’re going to be spending top dollar for the panels anyways you should just go with the best. 24v would essentially be better in the long run because it can carry a heavier load, but if you’re trying to save a few bucks get the 12v which isn’t bad, but expect more limitations.
